Can I use it by myself?
Yes — create a room and set it to private, and you can use it entirely on your own.
Can I limit a room to just my friends?
Yes — set a room to invite-only when you create it, and only people who have the invite code can join.
Can't I share photos?
Not yet — unfortunately, photo sharing hasn't been built yet.
Does it support video?
No, PoRoom doesn't support a webcam. It's left out on purpose, so writers who feel uneasy about sharing their screen or face can still use the online workspace comfortably.
Does signing in with Google collect my information?
Only the minimum needed to confirm who you are, like your email and name — nothing else is pulled from your Google account (Drive, contacts, etc.). See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Is my work list visible to other users?
No. Your work list data is never shared with other users. Only character counts and Pomodoro status are shared, and in a room with record-sharing turned off, you can use the Pomodoro timer without sharing any records at all.
